- SOCCER -

Breanna has statrted a new season of soccer and Katelyn is her "biggest fan" (well maybe I should say her smallest fan).

It is always so much fun to watch Breanna play and hear her sister yell out "go Breanna, you can do it! Come on and give me a knuckle!"

It wont be long before Katelyn is out on that field running from goal to goal.

- Sweet Moments of Childhood -

I Love watching the "Magical Moments" of Childhood that my daughters
share with me each time we step foot outside these doors, into the Great Outdoors.

From capturing a toad to fighting for those things that rightfully belong to you,
so much can be missed by those who fail to see beyond their busy daily
schedules.

Thank you girls for teaching me to "slow down and enjoy the small wonders
that are placed before me each and every day."

How much do you know about the Honey Bee?

This week at "Watson Academy" Breanna has been learning everything there is to know about your average backyard honey bee.

Together we created a large paper mache model of a honey bee. Breanna made sure that this bee had everything from a tongue to a stinger. Along with her model she wrote a report sharing some of the interesting facts that she learned about the honey bee.

Our project began at Hobby Lobby picking out the right paper and balls we were going to use as our bee body parts (you know they have three). We also needed black pipe cleaners and paper mache glue. Once we had gathered all of the supplies needed, we headed for home.

I do believe this may have been my first time using a paper mache product. Breanna took to it like fish to water. She really enjoyed peeling the glue from her fingers when she was finished.

I think this was a great way for Breanna to really get an understanding of how God created the bee and all of its unique body parts.

- Reminiscing Days Gone By -

Believe it or not this "Roller Racer" was around when I was just a little

whipper snapper myself. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa (God Bless

my Dad who saves everything - Kurt, does that remind you of someone?)

I am able to get just as much Pleasure from it today as I did years ( o.k.

decades) ago, only this time I am watching my own 2 daughters ride it.

Thank You Mom and Dad for sending us some Great Fun in a Box.

Just think, some TOYS were made to LAST!

"The Dance"

Learning to walk will set you free. Learning to dance gives you the greatest

freedom of all: to express your whole self, the person you are. -
Hayden

You can dance anywhere, even if only in your heart.
