Kurt Loved Rock City the Best of all. It was very Beautiful and an Amazing view from the top of Lookout Mountain. This is the place where you are able to see seven states all bordering one another. The girls loved walking hand in hand down the trails. We all had a wonderful time!
Today we took the girls to the Creative Discovery Museum (sorry memphis, but this place blows your Children's Museum right out of the water.) It is very cool for those of you who have never been. The children can dig for Dinosaur Bones in their huge sand box. Blow bubbles off of the rooftop looking down onto Chattanooga's downtown. It was a Large Playground for Children. Everything was "Hand's On" and we all know how much Kids like that. The girls have asked to go back several times already!
Here is a little taste of the Watson's Vacation to Chattanooga TN. We arrived late Friday evening and took the girls to the Aquarium the next morning. They Loved It! The top picture shows the girls outside before entering the building. Everything was so well done! The second picture shows Breanna inside the HUGE CRAB Aquarium. Yes, I said inside! The tank actually had a tube that the kids could crawl up into and see the Crabs "Face to Face". The third picture was taken at the entrance of the NEW Penguin Exhibit. It was a great place to take pictures! Later in the trip Breanna and I saw the movie "Happy Feet". The last picture is one of the coolest. I caught Pure Joy on Breanna's face as she held out her hand to one of the Butterflys that landed on her in the Butterfly Exhibit.
Today was a Special Day for Breanna! She is no longer in Preschool but has graduated into Kindergarden. This morning the school had a sweet little ceremony and Breanna received a diploma (bottom picture).
Initially, I wasn't pleased with the outcome of this bottom picture; then I realized this is a sneak peak of how quickly this little girl will be under my influence. I was not aware I needed to set my camera on Sport Mode - Breanna leaped off of the stage the moment her name was called.
I don't mean to get deep with all of you'll, but the short time that God gives us these little bundles of Energy is just that - SHORT. We are liable to blink our eyes and miss some of the most important years of their lives. Make Every Moment Count as a Witness for Christ. It is our calling as Mommies to introduce our children to their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Having said that, I will move on to the top picture. This is actually a picture of a picture - confused? Anyway, our scanner is on the fritz, so I did it the old fashioned way! I thought it turned out pretty good for Blog purposes, anyhow.
Last weekend Kurt and I took the girls out to lunch at Firehouse Subs. If you have never been, it is a very Fun and Tasty place to enjoy a Lunch. Each child is handed a Firechief Hat to wear and can even take it home with them to add to their "Dress-Up Trunk." The girls Love it!
Valerie - The girls loved wearing their matching pink dresses and I am sure you will see plenty more summer pictures with the dresses on. Thank You!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIANE !!!!!!
- I Hope You Enjoy Your Day -
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!Here are some cute pics of the girls I took this weekend. I love the picture of Katelyn in the Cat Bed. Once again she is showing us her "Tilt & Smile".
Kurt took the picture below of me and the girls (thank you Adrianna for the cute dresses you gave me last summer - they were perfect for Mother's Day!)
O.K. So Snow White is defiantly having a Bad Hair Day. This is Breanna's doing. She loves to take her helpless little baby sister up to her room and dress her up. Now I do remember doing this myself only it was my brother, Shanne, who ended up looking like a princess (don't worry he turned out o.k.).Love the top picture. Katelyn has adopted the "Tilt and Smile". This is a picture taking technique that big sister Breanna showed her how to do. I am sure you have seen it being done by the pro herself - Breanna.
Welcome to Miss Breanna's Pet Adoption Agency. Here you can adopt several of your favorite pets from Birds to Cats (notice the chart). By the way I was told there was no limit. Can you imagine, I could have walked out of her room with ten new pets that I needed to care for.
I thought this would be a treat for all of you who are not as lucky as I am to enjoy the results of Breanna's imagination every day!
Well, here's my girl!Breanna has been really enjoying the game of soccer.Last week she scored 4 goals for her team - this was after daddy said she could have a donut if she played her best.
This last picture was taken during half time - It was not staged. Breanna has a way of getting enough attention for the entire family. Her mission is to make the World Laugh!
I Love this Before and After photo of Katelyn. Pants are so overrated when your "sporting" a trendy pair of pull-ups. Notice the bandaid on the knee and the mismatched pair of high heels. As for Breanna she is always striking a pose. These are mom's Beauty Queens!
What could be better than an afternoon at the Beach?
How about an afternoon in the Sandbox!
Today Breanna kicked off her shoes & let the sand settle between her toes.
