Someone didn't want to leave the "wide open spaces".

Today we took Abbey to Shelby Farms so she could just enjoy "being a dog".
She loved every minute of it, especially chasing a wasp through the water.
I think we love the "wide open spaces" as much as Abbey does.

O.K. so it's not really Secret, but it sounded better than just "Mom's Garden". Don't you think so?

Here is our side yard that we worked on last spring.
It is the only part of the whole back yard that Abbey our
"chewing-machine" labrador does not have access to.

So maybe it is Secret after all.

Birthday Fun!

I turned 35 and what did I get? A mini van. Well, Breanna says "Mom, it is actually a Honda Odyssey, not a mini van." That certainly makes me feel better.
I guess I am officially in the "Mom's Mini Van Club"
