Breanna's "General Store"

Breanna and I read the books "The Rag Coat" and "When I was Young in the Mountains." Here is were the idea for her general store came up. Many items were placed out that Breanna needed to weigh on a kitchen scale or measure with a measuring tape. She learned that back in those days many items were purchased by weight from large barrels. We both enjoyed playing store!

- On The Farm -

I have been a little behind on updating Breanna's Kindergarden pictures - so here it goes - A couple weeks back we did a Unit Study on FARMS and the importance of each animal found on a Farm. Breanna made a Bar Graph after asking 26 people what thier favorite "Farm Animal" was. Just in case you were wondering, the COW came out with the most votes!

Oh no, not again!

My Little Rock Stars!

I don't know what it is about this costume, but Breanna loves it. She calls it her "Rock Star" Costume. We have yet to find one just right for Katelyn. Notice even the doll is playing an instrument.
